3 tips for a resilient Fit Biz Mindset!

Today I had my weekly masterclass with the I Heart My Fit Biz Members Club and it was all about MINDSET. (you can get access to this by becoming a member!)

If I'm going to be completely honest, mindset is the biggest thing I've worked on in order to change my Fit Biz! It wasn't a marketing plan, qualifying in the newest fitness format or even knowing what I had to do to achieve my Fit Biz goals, it was all MINDSET!

It's the one thing that holds us back. It makes us believe we're not good enough, it shatters our dreams and keeps us in a comfort zone if we're not working on it. Personal development books are one thing but taking action on what they teach us is another!

It's when I decided to take action on everything I read, listened to and learnt with regards to mindset that everything changed.

It doesn't mean I didn't have fear, felt I wasn't good enough or struggled along the way BUT it did mean I could handle all of those things and move past them a lot quicker and with more positivity.

I'd love to share with you 3 tips to help you improve you mindset for a thriving Fit Biz BUT you have to promise me one thing?! THAT YOU'LL IMPLEMENT THEM AND TAKE ACTION!. Otherwise they won't work, and even when they do work it doesn't mean you stop doing them! I want these to be life long practices to help you with any goal but more importantly to build a resilient, thriving Fit Biz!

So here they are:

  1. Become aware of what you're focusing on in a negative way - Whether it's complaining about barriers to your success or feeling negative about finances, become aware of it. Notice everything that turn you into a negative Nancy and write it down. You may want to take a few days to observe and write them down.
  2. Flip the script - Once you are aware of where your negative focus is you may find you become really aware and it seems you're negative all the time (this happened to me!) Don't worry, the next thing I want you to do is take your list of negatives and flip them all to positives by asking the right questions (afformations) so your mind can start finding the right answers. Example; if your negative thought is 'I'm never going to make money in my Fit Biz' I want you to flip the script to 'Why is it so easy to make money in my Fit Biz?' Do this for all your negative statements and read them every morning and night (read the positive ones not the negative!)
  3. Remove unnecessary negativity - Once you start the first 2 processes above you should start to feel better and more positive We want this to continue so make sure you don't get sucked in to that person's negative post on Facebook (yes you know the person who is always negative and airs their dirty laundry on Facebook!) delete them, unfollow them or snooze them for 30 days! Same goes for any other negatives in your life, reduce or cut our as much as possible!

Then lather, rinse, repeat! Over and over again until it's second nature!
